On August 13th, 2011 East Gaston E-300, E-303 and S-309 were dispatched to a fire alarm at 1310 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy.  3001 arrived with nothing showing.  While checking the buildings on-site, E-300's crew found a building in the rear of the property with water flowing from the sprinkler drain.  E-300's crew checked the building and found smoke in the machine hall of the building.  The call was upgraded to a commercial fire, brining Mt Holly L-34, Alexis E-200 and Stanley T-220.  E-300 and E-303 were repositioned to the rear of the building.  A second alarm was requested due to the large open areas and heavy smoke in the building.  This brought Community E-32, Lucia-Riverbend L-31 and New Hope Air 50.  The sprinkler system held the fire to the original machine and one line was able to extinguish the fire.
